Something I learnt was that if you put sugar in water then pour it in a cup then do it again but put less sugar in the water repeat it. Then it will layer up and if you it color then it will turn into a rainbow It was interesting because about we learnt how the if something is a solid all the molecules are really close together and the opposite for gas fluid. It is called density. I could teach Room 8 about density.
Yesterday I learnt that when its cold molecules will move slow and when its hot molecules will move fast. The exhibit that I found most interesting was when you had to sit on a chair & the person in charge of the exhibit spun you around. If you held your arms out and kick your legs out then you'll go slow because of gravity but if you curl up then you'll go really fast. My favorite part of the Science Roadshow was the fire and ice show at the end. I will teach you about MRS GREN. MRS GREN stands for Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion and Nutrition. If something doesn't have one or more of those then isn't alive.
I enjoyed: doing the report about the Napier earthquake with my group who were Jacob, Cole and Taylorbecause:it was really fun and we got to look at all the things and use them while filming. We did: use a greenscreen which was surprisingly easy. What I discovered: that the earthquake did a lot of damage and Napier was changed for ever.
